Steve Johnston, PE, Drainage Engineer at TLP Engineering Consultants, is a member of the 2023 Graduate Class of the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI), a leadership program that empowers engineering professionals to become community leaders, and make an impact in their workplaces, societies, and communities through training and skill development.
Forty (40) professional engineers located throughout Florida were selected through an application process to participate in the 10-month training program, an education program administered by the Florida Engineering Society (FES) and American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida (ACEC Florida). The FELI Class of 2023 graduation took place on Friday, July 28th in conjunction with the FES and ACEC Florida Annual Conference in Marco Island. 2023 Graduates raised over $100,000 for charities, the majority of those dedicated by the class to communities impacted by Hurricane Ian.
Steve was also chosen by his classmates to be their representative on the Leadership Institute Steering Committee.
